Experience

Don has been working in both the public and private sectors of land development in Texas since 1985. As a project engineer and project manager, he has led and contributed to a wide variety of municipal and private development projects, including retail, restaurant, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, railroad and airport facilities, residential subdivisions, multi-family housing, DART commuter rail, stormwater pump stations, municipal water utilities, street reconstruction, and drainage systems. His project experience spans developments ranging in size from 1 acre to 6,400 acres.

 

This extensive background has given Don an in-depth understanding of the many factors essential for successful development, such as:

 

Directing the planning and design of engineering projects from conception through construction: 

 

  • Managing retail site developments
  • Project coordination
  • Construction support
  • Oversight and lead design of residential developments

Personal

I have been an aviation enthusiast since I was in high school. I currently have a multi-engine/instrument/commercial pilot license. I am currently planning on completing my flight instructor license recertification. I enjoy going to national parks and coastal destinations with my adult children.
